Browsing data
The systems running this website automatically record some technical data (IP address, browser type, pages visited, date and time) to keep it secure and working. Legal basis: legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). This data is kept for a few days, unless needed to investigate abuse.
Requests sent through the form
Name, email, phone, message and, for reservations, date, time and number of people, used only to reply to your request. Legal basis: pre-contractual steps taken at your request (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Providing the data is optional, but without a way to contact you (email or phone) we cannot reply. There is no automated decision-making or profiling. You may receive an automatic confirmation email.
We keep requests for 24 months and then delete them. If the request turns into a reservation, the necessary data is kept for the period required by law (for example tax obligations).
Who receives the data
Your data is never sold or passed on. It is processed on our behalf only by the technical providers we need: Cloudflare (hosting, security, anti-spam, storing the form requests in the European Union), Resend (sending the form emails) and our email provider.
Transfers outside the European Union
Some providers (Cloudflare, Resend) are based in the United States. Transfers rely on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework or, where not applicable, on the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.
Cookies and similar tools
This website only uses technical cookies and does not use profiling cookies or analytics tools that require consent.
You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.

Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, rectification, erasure, restriction, object to processing and request portability (Arts. 15-22 GDPR), and withdraw your cookie consent without affecting earlier processing. Write to info@osteriadelborgo.it.
You may lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali) or the authority of the country where you live.
